President Liu Jizhen Met With Members of the 39th University Cadres Refresher Course of National Academy of Education Administration

On the afternoon of September 22nd, all the members of the 39th University Cadres Refresher Course of National Academy of Education Administration visited NCEPU.
On behalf of the NCEPU Party Committee and administrative cadres, President Liu extended warm welcome to the guests. He introduced the development and current situation of NCEPU, and presented the achievements of NCEPU in personnel training, scientific research and social services to meet the power needs of the nation during the past fifty years. President Liu said that at the beginning year of “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, NCEPU strives to make contribution to the development of national power supply and innovation, building a “multi-discipline, research-oriented, international” and high-level university with guidance of the “Three-Step Strategy”. He hoped to intensify communication and understanding with other universities and realize win-win cooperation.
Wang Jian, Vice President of Nanjing Normal University, expressed thanks to President Liu for the warm reception. He affirmed that the great achievements made by North China Electricity Power University in many fields recently presented a sound example for other universities, and expected more opportunities for exchange and cooperation in future. Other members also exchanged ideas with President Liu Jizhen.
Leaders of Office of Party Committee and President’s Office, Human Resources Department, Campus Planning & Construction Department and Logistics Group also attended the meeting. Before the meeting, members of the course visited the National Engineering Laboratory of Biomass Power Generation Equipment and appreciated the campus scene accompanied by Vice President Sun Zhongquan.
