Vice President Yang Yongping Met with Nigerian Visitors

         In the morning of July 29^th, Mr. Yang Yonggping, vice president of NCEPU, met with Dr. Harlana, head of Nigeria Research & Development Institute of Electric Power Equipment and Motor, accompanied by Hao Junlin, general manager assistant from the Technology Application Departmentof China Great Wall Industry Corporation and his colleagues.

        Mr. Yang Yongping introduced to these guests the general situation of NCEPU and its development in electricity power recently in particular. Dr. Harlana also presented the functions of Nigeria Research & Development Institute of Electric Power Equipment and Motor, and illustrated that the aim of this visit was to acquire support of NCEPU in the design, technical instruction and purchase for construction of an inspection center for transformers, electric wires and other equipments.

         Both parties actively negotiated on this cooperation during the meeting.

      Later, Mr. Yang Yongping showed the representatives the “National Key Laboratory of New Energy Power System” and the “Beijing Key Laboratory of High Voltage and Electromagnetic Compatibility”. Mr. Duan Chunming (deputy president of International Cooperation School) and Prof. Cheng Yangchun (head of Beijing Key Laboratory of High Voltage and Electromagnetic Compatibility) also attended the meeting.
