NCEPU holds Commendatory Meeting to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of CPC

   On June 23rd and 24th, NCEPU convened the Commendatory Meeting to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of CPC in Beijing and Baoding.

    All the party members took part in the meeting, among which include leaders, assistants of the president, members of CPC committee and inspection commission, officials, party general branches, secretaries and members of party branch, the commended representatives from primary party organizations, outstanding party members and workers, and faculty as well as student party representatives.

    The meeting was hosted by President Liu Jizhen.
    Zhang Jinhui, deputy secretary read the documents of Decision on Commending the Advanced Primary Party Organizations, Outstanding Party Members and Workers of School Level. According to the Notice of Electing the Advanced Primary Party Organizations, Outstanding Party Members and Workers (NCEUP Party Committee, 2011. No.9), the primary recommendation, school evaluation and the Party Committee Meeting decision,42 Party branches such as Party branch of Electrical & Electronic Engineering School were awarded as Advanced Primary Party Organization, 91 members such as Zhang Jianhua were granted as Outstanding Party Member and 30 members such as Dong Ling were conferred as Outstanding Party Worker.
 
    The winner representatives were awarded on the stage. 

    Excellent Party members including representatives teacher Dong Changqing, Li Jinying, students representatives Li Jingwen, Liu Tingting, as well as primary Party organization representatives Si Wei, Wang Zijie, made speeches in the meeting. They expressed that they would follow the party’s tenet, devote to duties, serve selflessly and contribute their own efforts to the progress of higher education, the great party and school development with practical action and marvelous achievements.
 
    Wu Zhigong, Secretary of NCEPU Party Committee, delivered an important  speech at the meeting.  
 
    First, he extended his warm greetings to all the Party members and organizations, and his congratulations to all the individuals and organizations that were awarded on behalf of NCEPU Party Committee.
    
    By conscientiously implementing the party’s basic line and guidelines for education, He pointed out, NCEPU Party Committee has been navigating the direction of university running in the past years, Since the new century, we have made numerously remarkable achievements: we have formed a clear university running goal, advanced educational philosophy, scientific developing strategy and distinct university running characteristics. By adhering to the scientific outlook on development and taking development as the top priority, NCEPU Party Committee has provided a strong political, ideological and organizational guarantee for the construction of a world-famous high-level university. 
   
    Secretary Wu stresses that during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, NCEPU Committee of the CPC will further apply the Scientific Outlook on Development, give first priority to the development, emancipate minds and renew ideas, deepen the reform and keep to educational rules, innovate thinking modes and work patterns, center on the nine strategic tasks proposed by the First Congress of Party Representatives and various tasks related to party construction and politician issues, implement NCEPU’s Twelfth Five-Year Plan, and push the healthy and quick development of a high-level university. NCEPU has gained glorious achievements under the leadership of CPC, who has a splendid history of 90 years. Looking back to the past, Secretary Wu says, NCEPU is very proud, enthusiastic and looking forward to the future. Thus, he appeals that all NCEPU people should, under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, carry out the spirit of First Congress of Party Representatives of NCEPU, rely on different levels of organizations and party members, unite all faculties, comply with the new situation, grasp the new opportunities, realize the new phase with spirited fighting will, positive features and strong confidence, make every effort to realize various strategic tasks put forward by the Congress of Party Representatives and the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and to establish a high-level university.

    At the end of the meeting, President Liu summarizes that the Commendatory Meeting to Celebrate the 90th Founding Anniversary of CPC is a solemn and grand activity, during which we have not only reviewed the glorious history of CPC since its foundation, but also cited outstanding basic-level Party Organizations, party workers and party members who have made great contributions to the construction of NCEPU. As they are role models of dedication, exemplification of imparting knowledge and educating people, backbones in the course of establishing a high-level university, and good examples of NCEPU people, the winner should keep on making unremitting efforts to achieve greater accomplishment.

    At last, President Liu emphasizes that there is tough work ahead and a long way to go in the construction of a high-level university, therefore all party members should keep in mind that no progress means regression, follow the good model of these good examples, bear responsibilities in mind, enhance duty and crisis awareness, promote good traditions of CPC, give full play to the leading role of party members, keep pace with the times and work hard to achieve the aim of realizing various strategic tasks put forward by the Congress of Party Representatives and the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and make new contributions to the establishment of a high-level university.
