Vice President of Cambridge University Prof. Lynn Gladden Visits NCEPU

On September 9th, Prof. Lynn Gladden, Vice President of Cambridge University, academician of the Royal Society, Royal Academy of Engineering and Royal Academy of Chemistry, paid a visit to North China Electric Power University at invitation after the Sixth World Congress on Industrial Process Tomography.
    In the meantime, in the company of Prof. Liu Shi, head of Control & Computer Engineering School in NCEPU, Prof. Lynn Gladden delivered a characteristic speech for the teachers and students in Block F of main teaching building. In her speech, Prof. Lynn Gladden introduced Cambridge’s history and present situation, as well as her fruitful research achievement- NMR image. Prof. Gladden’s visit to NCEPU provides teachers and students an opportunity to communicate directly with the world class university for the second time.
    Teachers and students displayed great interest in Prof. Gladden’s address and had a heated discussion with her after the meeting.
    President Liu threw a banquet for Prof. Lynn Gladden, extending his warm welcome to her visit. During the luncheon, the two parties had a friendly conversation on the interested fields, the cooperation between two parties and so on.
