NCEPU, One of the First Pilot Universities under the National Educational Reform

 Recently, the declaration of “the Cooperation Model between Universities and Enterprises under the Change of Industry Background” organized by NCEPU has been approved by the office of national educational reform leading group and become one of the pilot programs under the national educational reform, which enables NCEPU to become one of the first pilot universities under the national educational reform.
 
    In May 2010, in order to implement the “Plan for China’s Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development” and promote the educational reform in an orderly manner, the Ministry of Education decided to carry out pilot program in divided regions step by step across the country for the accumulation of experience in the promotion of educational reform comprehensively and thoroughly.
 
    NCEPU leaders paid high attention to the pilot declaration, studied hard to comprehend the spirit of National Education Meeting and Plan for Education. According to the Notification in Respect of Organizing Declaration of National Educational System Reform Pilot Program (Letter of National Educational Reform [2010]No.1), closely based on the school development reality and overall situation of national higher educational reform, school leaders organized relevant departments to seriously carry out the declaration, and finally confirmed the “the Cooperation Model between Universities and Enterprises under the Change of Industry Background” as the reform pilot program. Through rounds of reviews and argumentations by experts organized by the Ministry of Education, it was finally granted as national educational reform pilot program.
 
    “The Cooperation Model between Universities and Enterprises under the Change of Industry Background” is the only pilot program of school-enterprise cooperation. The core is to explore the model of cooperation between universities and enterprises in industry background, expand social educational resources, and improve the quality of talents training, scientific research level and social service overall ability as a whole. The pilot program is a good opportunity for NCEPU to further bring forth new ideas, make breakthroughs, and explore models and mechanisms of school-enterprises cooperation. And it will also promote the construction of high level universities which will make contribution to the building of the national educational system reform and national innovative system.
 
    Besides, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University and other  universities totally 34 ones belonging to the central bodies have become the pilot universities.
