The Course of “An Introduction to New Energy” from School of Economics and Management was Honored “The National Bilingual Teaching Model Course”

Recently, the notification on approving 2010 bilingual teaching model course construction program by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education([2010] No. 11) published the results of the 2010 national bilingual teaching model course: “An Introduction to New Energy” taught by Professor Dong Jun, School of Economics and Management, was approved as the 2010 national bilingual teaching model course.
 
    The construction content of bilingual teaching model course includes many aspects, such as training of bilingual teachers, hiring foreign teachers and experts to give lectures, introduction and construction of advanced bilingual teaching materials, reform and practice of bilingual teaching methods, the making of excellent bilingual teaching courseware, and summary of bilingual teaching experience; at the same time, it is necessary to actively make use of modern educational technology, share relevant teaching resources, and serve as a model to give radiation effects.
 
    In future work, we will, in strict accordance with the requirements of Ministry of Education and our university, do a good job in bilingual teaching model course construction, and put focus on the training of bilingual teachers, to improve the quality of bilingual teaching continuously, and gradually form the bilingual course teaching pattern, which is in line with the international advanced teaching concepts and teaching methods, and conforms to China’s realities, in order to make new achievements in comprehensively improving the quality of education and teaching.
