President Liu Jizhen Held Reception for President of Malaysia University Tenaga Nasional and His Delegation

Headed by President Dr Ir. Mashkuri Yaacob, Malaysia University Tenaga Nasional delegation visited North China Electric Power University during May 15th to May 16th. The delegation were met with NECPU’s Vice President Li Chengrong, Director of International Cooperation Department Liu Yongqian, Director of University-Enterprise Cooperation Office Chu Jingchun, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department Xu Lingling and Associate Dean of Electric Power School Bi Tianshu on May 15th in the No.2 conference room in the administration building. Liu Yongqian presided over the meeting.
    Vice President Li Chengrong commenced the meeting with warm welcome to the visiting delegation and then gave a brief introduction of NCEPU. President Dr Ir. Mashkuri Yaacob also offered some basic information of University Tenaga Nasional and expressed the main purpose of this visit to NCEPU. The two parties sought cooperation on the following subjects and reached  consensus. 1. United/Staged   doctor cultivation; 2. Cooperation in science and research; 3. Teacher training/exchange; 4. Student exchange and overseas advanced study project; 5. Visiting professor/ external examiner; 6. Consulting group/international journal committee members. The negotiated results would be signed and posted. The University Tenaga Nasional showed great interest in the renewable energy projects and nuclear power projects.
    President Liu Jizhen invited the delegation for luncheon.
    In the afternoon, the delegation visited China Guodian Group Corporation.
    The University Tenaga Nastional is a private university affiliated to the Malaysia State Energy Co.Ltd, with two campuses located in the capital Kuala Lumpur and Sabah respectively.
