NCEPU and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region signed strategic frame agreement

On the afternoon of Sep. 5th, NCEPU signed strategic frame agreement with Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and the two parties will build up stable long-term strategic relation to promote the power industry development of Xinjiang.

    Party Secretary Wu Zhigong, Vice President Li Heming, Assistant Principle Sun Zhongquan, Standing Vice-dean of Graduate School Zhao Dongmei, Director of Property Office Yao Kaiwen, Director of Scientific Research Office Yang Jingjing, Standing Committee member and Deputy Chairman of Xinjiang Kurexi,Mhesuti, Standing Committee member Erkenjiang Tulahong, Deputy Chairman of Xinjiang Political Consultative Committee and Dean of Economic and Trade Commission Wang Yongming were present at the ceremony. Wu Zhigong and Wang Yongming respectively representing NCEPU and the government of Xinjiang signed the agreement

    Mr. Wu delivered a speech. He first introduced the history and general conditions of NCEPU and further introduced the schooling characteristics and advantages of NCEPU from aspects including discipline characteristics, participating in national science innovation system and technical innovating system, university-enterprise cooperation, promoting local economic development, talents cultivating and etc. Mr. Wu said that NCEPU has long adhered to the concept of “Running a university highly responsible for the nation, society and students” and stuck to the schooling policy of “Advancement through development of academic disciplines, improvement through talent recruitment, revitalization through scientific research” in the past 50 years and has made great contribution to the energy industry of China. Xinjiang plays an important role in promoting the political stability and development of our country. Therefore, it is of great significance to promote the sound and fast development of Xingjiang economy. NCEPU will give full scope to the advantages in talents, techniques and information to contribute to the development of Xinjiang power industry.

    Kurexi Maihesuti expressed his appreciation to NCEPU for the support it gave to the development of the power industry of Xijiang. He said that this agreement will push the all-round cooperation of our two parties into a new stage. He wished that we could have multilevel communication and cooperation in various ways centering on the key cooperative areas and made efforts to improve the independent innovative ability of the power industry in Xinjiang and provided technical support to the power industry and manufacturing industry relating to it so as to promote the new industrializing process of Xinjiang.
