NCEPU Held The First Meeting of The Second Council

On December 22th, NCEPU held the first meeting of its second council in Beijing.

  
  Wang Zhixuan, the secretary general of CEC council gave the introduction of the adjustment of the institution of NCEPU council and the revise of NCEPU council's statute. Liu Jizhen, the president of NCEPU, gave the work report of NCEPU in the meeting. Liu Zhenya, president of NCEPU council, chairman of SGCC, secretary of SGCC party group gave important speech. The president, vice president and members of NCEPU council attended the meeting.
 

 
   State Grid , China Southern Power Grid Co. , Ltd, China Huaneng Group, China Datang Corporation, China Huadian Corporation, China Guodian Group Corporation, China Power Investment Corporation, China Electricity Council, president of NCEPU attended the meeting.
   Wang Zhixuan, vice headman of the preparatory group of the second council of NCEPU, the secretary general of CEC council gave the introduction of the adjustment of the institution of NCEPU council and the revise of NCEPU council's statute, which was adopted by consensus of official representatives. 

      
  Liu Jizhen, the president of NCEPU, gave the work report of NCEPU. He introduced the working situation of NCEPU council, basic information of NCEPU and the achievements gained in discipline construction, personnel training, scientific research, school-enterprise cooperation, international exchanges and cooperation as well as other fields over the yeas. He also gave suggestions about the important work of the council, hoping the council could focus on supporting the construction project which has strategic significance, the construction of state-level scientific research platform and the construction of new think tank of energy power with high level, and further establish the specialized committee mechanism of talent cultivation and cooperation of science and technology.
 
 
   Liu Zhenya pointed out that in recent years NECPU insisted University-enterprise cooperation in running school, mutual benefit and win-win progress, adhered to strengthen talent cultivation,scientific and technological innovation and the construction of key disciplines. In this way, the software and hardware conditions of NCEPU continued to improve, teachers and students maintained a good mental outlook, and the teaching ability, scientific research level and influence at home and abroad significantly increased. NCEPU has cultivated a large number of talents, making a positive contribution to the electric business of China, which benefit the whole electric power industry. These achievements were hard-won by the hard work of the leadership and all staff of NCEPU.
 

 
  Liu Zhenya underlined 4 points for the council's work and the development of school in the future.
  1.NCEPU should provide good service for the safe, innovative, scientific developments of electric power industry and enterprises.
  2.CLP and electric power enterprises should actively support NCEPU for a better and faster development.
  3.NCEPU should work hard to promote innovation development.
  4. NCEPU should play its role as a platform.

      Liu Zhenya said after the new council formed today, the next step for us is to improve the organization and working mechanism, ensure the council operate orderly, and hence promote the reform and development, exert the advantage and function of NCEPU and make greater contribution to the sustainable development of electric power industry and energy industry.
