NCEPU Held the Beijing-Tianjin-HebeiAir Pollution Control Seminar

      On March 5 afternoon ,NCEPU held the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei air pollution control seminar around the current hot issues of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei air pollution problems. NCEPU actively exert subject characteristics of its energy power discipline, school experts contributed ideas from aspects such as how to optimize the structure of energy, efficiently use renewable energy and clean energy, atmosphere control and energy laws and regulations. 

  
      Yang Yongping pointed out that the current air pollution problem has received the widespread attention of the whole society, air pollution of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is particularly urgent ,and as our school stretches across Beijing and Tianjin, we should actively response to the demand of the state and local government to make contributions
to atmospheric pollution of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region
      
      Leaders and experts from each colleges gave speech respectively in combination with their research field. Professor Zeng Ming and NiuDongXiao from economics and management college, professor Zhao Yi from environmental science and engineering college, Dai Song yuan, professor from renewable energy college, professor Du Xiaoze from energy power and mechanical engineering college, professor Li Yongping from resources and environment research college, Wang Wei, Wang Xuemian and Chen Weichun from college of humanities and social sciences talked about their views respectively. Executive vice president TanQinLiang pointed out that this meeting arouse the masses about our special study in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiatmospheric pollution control, and the experts' advice should be summarized as soon as possible to form a specific action plan in order to further promote scientific research and social service work in the related fields. 
       
      Yang Yongping argues that, we should make full use of our multi-disciplinary advantages to meet the needs of the state and society under the current circumstances and to play a role of think-tank providing local governments with weighty advice and consulting report; Colleges should combine the demand of the state and local government, actively study the atmospheric pollution projects from multiple levels to contribute for the development of  the country and society.
       
      Under the background of growing atmospheric pollution problems in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, this seminar has great significance. This is our school's in-depth implementation of the efficiency and emission reduction in the "twelfth five-year" plan, and will effectively promote interdisciplinary integration of advantage resources and the carry out of scientific research. At the same time it will let our school play a greater role in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei atmospheric pollution control and in improving people's living environment.
