NOCFL Deputy Director Wang Yongli Came to Investigate the Work of NCEPU Confucius Institute

      On March 12 in the afternoon, Wang Yongli, vice director of NOCFL and other 3 people came to investigate NCEPU. NCEPU party secretary Wu Zhigong met them, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges around the construction and development, deepening cooperation and expanding the Confucius institute cooperation platform of the two overseas Confucius institute of our school.
 

 
      Cao Diefeng, division chief of Confucius institute Division II, project officers Qu Songming and Zhang jingjing, Yang Yongping, vice present of NCEPU, Pan Weiping, professor of Thousand Talents program, main officials of the international cooperation Institute and international education school attended the meeting.
 

      Wang Yongli gave a brief introduction of the main purpose of the research, he said, NOCEL has been 10 years old, in such a connecting link between the preceding and the following , NOCEL hope to have more in-depth exchanges and communication with  NCEPU and other schools to promote the development of NOCEL for future work. In the demonstration construction projects held by NOCEL, namely to fund 100 Confucius Institute among the existing 443 Confucius institutes and 650 Confucius institute classrooms, all 2 overseas Confucius institute of NCEPU were in the 100 candidate list, so this research is of far-reaching significance.
  

      Wu Zhigong on behalf of the school warmly welcomed the coming of NOCEL leaders, and said in the past decade, Confucius institute has made remarkable achievements, the success of the Confucius institute was a reflection of China's soft power. North China electric power university was willing to continue to closely cooperate with NOCEL, work together, build more Confucius institutes with NCEPU characteristic.

      Yang Yongping introduced the basic situation of the Confucius institution of our school. Pan Weiping introduced the team's research the construction situation of western Kentucky university Confucius institute in the United States, and shared his exenperience about how to integrate scientific concept and culture transmission, and how person with technical background combined with culture construction.

      Duan Chunming, vice president of the international education school, introduced the students’ study and school life, he mainly introduced the construction of curriculum system, attendance system, credit certification and so on.
 

      After the symposium, NOCEL officials visited the Beijing key laboratory of pollutants monitoring and control in the process of thermoelectric production in the charge of professor Pan Weiping.
