Vice-President of Cardiff University Visited NCEPU to Negotiate Inter-school Cooperation

      Yang Yongping extended a warm welcome to Thomas, and highly appreciated Cardiff university on cultivating the students' quality, and hoped to actively carry out cooperation between the two schools of undergraduate, master, doctor at every level.

      Thomas introduced the basic situation of Cardiff university and their internationalization development strategy plan for 2020. Cardiff university, founded in 1883, is the UK's most creative and enterprising school, is also one of the most successful university. Cardiff university is adequate in research funding, with is abundant strength, and famous for its leading research level. Thomas said the talks deepened their understanding of NCEPU, a the development and excellence of NCEPU shocked them, and they actively pressed the willing to carry out more deep cooperation based on students communication.
 

  
      The two schools put out two perspectives in the future cooperation: first, both sides must provide a certain amount of seed money in the early stage to start the joint research project, start the joint research center of energy, further deepen the scientific research cooperation, improving the quality of cooperation; Second, signed a MOU, appointed project specialist responsible for the two schools of exchanges and research cooperation, especially doctoral level and the cultivation of young teachers. The two sides will actively promote the higher level of cooperation from the school level, and suggested the scholars of two schools should actively strive for the Chinese and British government to set up the scientific research cooperation found.
