In the morning of april 3rd, the principal of NCEPU Liu Jizheng met with the ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon H.E. Mr. Martin Mpana and his wife team. The visit of H.E. Mr. Martin Mpana team aimed at attending sessions of the NCEPU 2014 Graduation Ceremony and Graduate Degree-Granting Ceremony.
With a brief introduction about foreign students’ cultivation during the visit, Liu Jizheng expressed his hope that the foreign students would return home after graduation and give a full play to their strong points in the energy and power industry and other areas in their country, keeping continuous improvement. Expressing thanks to NCEPU for hard training of students from Cameroon, H.E. Mr. Martin Mpana ambassador said, as a result of continued economic development, the demand for engineering and technical personnel is increasing in Cameroon. In particular, the problem of short-term power is still a very prominent issue in Cameroon, so that energy and electricity talents are much-needed in their country. The ambassador also showed the willingness to promote the cooperation between NCEPU and universities in Cameroon. After the meeting, the two sides posed for pictures.
Attendees also include the vice-principal Yang Yongping and main officials of Graduate School, the International Cooperation Department, the International Institute of Education and other departments.
