Secretary Wu Zhigong Met With Zheng’e, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and His Colleagues

On the afternoon of March 2, Zheng’e, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and his colleagues came to NCEPU for research and investigation, who were warmly welcomed by Secretary Wu Zhigong and vice president Sun Pingsheng.

        Deputy director Zheng’e introduced supporting polices and budget for scientific research projects application, technology transformation, cultural development and prosperity, etc. of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education in 2012. He specifically mentioned the various preferential policies for Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone, and hoped that NCEPU would take advantage of the preferential policies and continuously make breakthrough in scientific research and technology transformation based on the university science park of national level. Deputy director Zheng’e referred that Beijing Municipal Commission of Education had been offering great support to major universities in Beijing, and wished that universities, while aiming at hot issues in economic and social development of Beijing, to integrate resources, give full play to talents and scientific research, promote application and industrialization of scientific research achievements, and make greater contribution to the construction of Environment-friendly Beijing, Technology-empowered Beijing and Culture-enriched Beijing.

        Secretary Wu Zhigong expressed sincere thanks to Beijing Municipal Commission of Education for their strong support to NCEPU. He stated that NCEPU had been actively seeking a full range of multi-level cooperation with Beijing Municipal Government, and expected that Beijing Municipal Commission of Education would provide more policies and opportunities to scientific research and talents introduction, so as to create sound circumstances for NCEPU to meet the demands of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. Secretary Wu Zhigong also exchanged views with deputy director Zheng’e on getting kindergarten and school admission of youth staff’s children.

        Vice president Sun Pingsheng said that NCEPU had made great contribution to economic and technological development of Beijing, including Changping District, through production-study-research cooperation. In the future, with regard to Beijing’s economic and social development, NCEPU would continue enhancing the ability to serve the society and play a more important role in the development of Beijing.

        Chen Zhaojiang, director of Finance Department and Wang Qinghua, director of President Office also attended the meeting.
