President Liu Jizhen met Vice General Manager Zhang Xiaodong of China Southern Power Grid

      In the morning of May 13, President Liu Jizhen met the vice general manager Zhang Xiaodong of China Southern Power Grid. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on further strengthening cooperation in the fields of science and technology, personnel training, high-level talents training and so on. 
 

      President Liu Jizhen and vice general manager Zhang Xiaodong reviewed and gave a highly praise to the co-operation between NCEPU and China Southern Power Grid since March, 2012 when the chairman of China Southern Power Grid Company Zhao Jianguo led a delegation to visit the university and signed a university-enterprise cooperation framework agreement. Both sides agreed to work together for common development on the platform of University Council by seizing the development opportunity of the energy and power industry and taking advantage of the competitiveness and resources of both sides..

      Zhang said, with its rapid development and great achievements accomplished after entering the new century, NCEPU has become a high-level university with great competitveness and an important recruitment base of China Southern Power Grid. On behalf of China Southern Power Grid, Zhang heartily thanked NCEPU for its remarkable contributions to the improvement of the structure and quality of the company’s workforce, and for its support to the development of science and technology research in the company. At the same time, he hoped that NCEPU could continue to transport highly qualified graduates to the company and train high-caliber talents and ordinary employees for the company.

      Liu said that developing the energy and power industry is the common cause of NCEPU and China Southern Power Grid. The two sides established a comprehensive, multi-level, close cooperation mechanism in the process of mutual development, and have made gratifying achievements in some areas. On behalf of NCEPU, Liu thanked the China Southern Power Grid for its sincere support to the university in the fields of scientific research, talent cultivation, student employment, etc. Liu also said, through making good use of its disciplinary advantages and highly qualified faculty, NCEPU would provide further assitance to China Southern Power Grid in staff training and make greater contribution to the rapid and scientific development of China Southern Power Grid.
