The Mayor of Zhuhai He Ningka and leaders paid a visit NCEPU

      On the afternoon of September 16th, He Ningka, the Mayor of Zhuhai, Wang Qingli, the Vice Mayor of Zhuhai and relevant leaders paid a visit to North China Electricity Power University, accompanied by President Liu Jizhen, Deputy President Sun Zhongquan and Wang Zengping. Both sides had a friendly communication with the academic cooperation.
     Zhangsong, Secretary-General of Zhuhai, Chen Guangjun, Chief of Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai, Zhang Zhiwei, Director of Beijing Liaison Office of Zhuhai, President assistant of NCEPU, and Wang Qinghua, Director of Communist Party school of NCEPU also attended the meeting.
     
     On behalf of NCEPU, President Liu Jizhen welcomed Mayor He Ningka, Vice Mayor Wang Qingli and other leaders. He mentioned, for a long time, NCEPU made it our responsibility to serve advancing in Energy Power Industry and developing of local economic society. In recent years, NCEPU developed in-depth exploration and research in the field of Ultra High Voltage, Smart Grid and New Energy Sources, and also achieved a number of symbolic results. NCEPU developed a mode of school-enterprise cooperation, and built up cooperation relationship with governments of Baoding of Hebei Province, Changping District of Beijing and Suzhou of Jiangsu Province, which made contribution for development of local economic society. 
      Zhuhai was set up in a forward position of Chinese Economic Reform, and it had numerous advantages, which were well worth learning, using for reference and consulting in the aspects of concepts, thoughts, methods, paths, and mode of development. We hoped we can take advantage of this opportunity, promote communication and better understanding, and develop cooperation of innovativeness，perceptiveness and high starting point. Under the process of innovative cooperation system and mode, we would like to promote long-term development between two sides.
      Mayor He Ningka introduced the development history and current situation of Zhuhai. He believed, as a high-profile university in the field of Energy Power Industry, NCEPU made outstanding contribution for China’s Energy Power Utilities. It’s such an impressive and admirable achievement that NCEPU created. At present, facing the third development opportunity, with the implement of Pearl River Delta Plan, Zhuhai established a new development position of itself, which made it reached a more important stage of China’s Development Strategy. Zhuhai put a high value on communication and cooperation with NCEPU and other colleges.
      He hoped, companied by NCEPU, Zhuhai could design the development prospect in all fields including New Energy Industry, and combined economic industry of Zhuhai with substantial academic sources and advanced science and technology of NCEPU. The government in Zhuhai would give its full support to mutual communication and cooperation in all fields.
     Before the conversation, accompanied with President Liu Jizhen, Vice President Sun Zhongquan and Wang Zengping, Mayor He Ningka, Vice Mayor Wang Qingli and relevant leaders paid a visit to the High-Level Achievement Exhibition of NCEPU.
