Baoding News in Brief: on September 9, the 30-day training on electric power technology in 2014 for delegation from Equatorial Guinea was begun. The vice-president Wang Zengping, directors of relevant departments and more than 20 counterparts of electric industry from Equatorial Guinea attended the opening ceremony in North China Electric Power University.
Wu Yanjun, the head of the project and the deputy director of the International Cooperation Department, hosted the ceremony.
Wang Zengping said in his speech that the training was sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce, and was one of the significant foreign-aid development projects for human resource that was organized by NCEPU. This project not only can improve the communication and friendship between China and Equatorial Guinea, but also is a great opportunity for both sides to exchange electricity technology and upgrade technology. Focusing on the control and operation of power system, the training will provide production practice, as well as theoretical study, by visits of the production site to gain fist-hand experience and to understand the level of development and technical features of China’s electric power industry. Meanwhile, the achievements China has obtained in the field of renewable energy generation will be introduced to them. Wang said, in order to well host this training, our university will elaborate training plan according to relevant requirements of Ministry of Commerce, and make meticulous preparation to ensure the quality of the training, and We will do whatever we can to satisfy the trainees’ need for daily life and leisure-time activities will be arranged for entertainment. In addition, our university will make efforts to establish a good platform for deepening industry exchange, expanding friendly cooperation and promoting joint development between China and Equatorial Guinea.
The trainee, Borgetino Miguelsua, said in his speech that he was honored to have this opportunity to take part in this training, and he will communicate with Chinese experts and scholars on common concern of electric power issues, and carefully learn China’s advanced electric power technology and knowledge, so as to make more contribution to the development of electric power industry in Equatorial Guinea.
