Gan Xue Wins the Women's Half Marathon at Beijing International Marathon

    On the afternoon of October 19, the 34th Beijing International Marathon kicked off at Beijing Tian'anmen Square. Gan Xue, a track team athlete from NCEPU,participated in the competition of women's half marathon and finished first in 1 hour, 18 minutes and 22 seconds with a strong will and strength.
    A total of 30,000 professional players and amateurs from 55 countries were attracted by this Beijing International Marathon, which was hosted by the Chinese Athletics Association, and approved by China’s General Administration of Sport and Beijing Municipal Government. This is  the highest level of marathon in China that files with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The first Beijing International Marathon was organized in 1981 and held once a year, now it has developed into a traditional and international event that has major impact, and ranks among the top 10 marathon races in the world as well.
   After the Marathon, Gan Xue gave an interview to CCTV sports channel.
