Signing Ceremony of Construction and Cooperation for Graduate Workstation Held between NCEPU and Guangdong Grip Company

    NCEPU signed the framework agreement on joint construction of graduate workstation with Guangdong Grip Company on November 8th. Wang Jiang, Vice General Manager, Xiao Xiang, Director of Human Resources Department, Chu Fayu, Vice Director of Human Resources Department, Mei Guihua, Vice Chief Engineer of China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology, Guangdong Grip Company, and An Liansuo, Vice President, Heads of Graduate School, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, School of Energy Power & Mechanical Engineering and related departments, NCEPU, attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Zhao Dongmei, Executive Vice Dean of Graduate School. 

    Mr.Wang Jiang introduces the company’s general information, and expressed his aspiration that the company yearns for cooperating with NCEPU. He says that the company’s leaders have paid more attention to the talents and adjusted positively strategy to perfect comprehensive arrangement of scientific research project. He hopes to further enhance the cooperation of scientific research and talents development with NCEPU. Although they have got jobs after graduation, many graduates lack of field work experience, so the employers have to cost a lot to train the new employees. Through the graduate workstations, it is hopeful to realize employment and development in advance. Besides, the company owns more than 2,000 experts now, so it can enhance the experts’ scientific research and reaching level through the joint development of the workstation between GGC with NCEPU.
    Vice President An expressed his warm welcome to Wang Jiang and his team. He says that the bilateral cooperation mode meets the strategy requirements of innovation-oriented country and coincides with the university’s innovative talents development. Based on constructing research-oriented university, NCEPU participates in the construction of national innovation system as possible as it can. It persistently promotes the graduate joint development innovative mode of school-corporation graduate workstation, and establishes successively outside graduate workstations and professional practice bases in 86 large power companies and research institutes. The graduate workstation of Yunnan Grip Company has been appraised as National Demonstrative Joint Development Base for Master of Engineering, which is one of the first 28 National Demonstrative Bases as well. The graduates from the joint
development workstation of Yunnan Grip Company won the honorary title of First Outstanding Achievements Winner of Internship and Practice for Engineering Master. The election results have increased the influence of NCEPU Engineering Master Education, and created positive effects on national universities. As the engine of national economy, Guangzhou Grip Company focuses on the future and puts the talents development on important position. Since the company, experts, and university have enthusiasm now, he hopes to make use of this chance to realize solid cooperation.
