The NCEPU Team Won the National Championship of “Peak Time” Commercial Simulation Contest

On March 29th, the finals of the 7th “Peak Time” International Commercial Simulation Contest in China area came to a successful end in Guangzhou. In the finals, the undergraduate team of North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), called “Joint Effort”, won the national championship and becomes eligible for the international finals. Zhang Qi, Liu Liwei and Zhao Erdong from School of Economics and Management (EM) were awarded the prize of “Excellent Tutor”.

The 7th “Peak Time” National Commercial Simulation Contest was hosted by China Center for International Educational Exchange and organized by Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. About 200 Chinese universities participated in the contest. After the preliminary and the semifinal, 19 undergraduate teams entered the finals in China area after five months.

After three days’ competition, the NCEPU team won the national championship in the finals with the best score in commercial simulation and the highest comprehensive score, becoming the only Chinese team to enter the international finals. Their best performance resulted from the efforts of all the teachers and students, the achievements of educational reform and innovative and entrepreneurial education. It is a breakthrough in the internationalization of the university.
