Our University’s Achieving Excellent Results of the Science and Technology Papers in 2014

On October the 21st, the statistics from the China Science and Technology Papers were released and the Science and Technology papers of our university made a great harvest in 2014. According to the report, 1,520 science and technology papers of our university were included by the China Science and Technology Papers Citation Database (CSTPCD) in 2014, ranking the 63th in the national colleges and universities, with a citation of 6,819 times, ranking the 40th. And 649 science and technology papers of our university were included by the Extended Version of the Science Citation Index (SCI), ranking the 78th in the national colleges and universities, with 185 papers increased compared with that in the same period of last year, ranking 10 forward.


Besides, a total of 2,488 SCI papers of our university were cited for 13,491 times within the 10 years from 2005 to 2014, ranking the 111th in the national colleges and universities. (Data in the same period of last year: 1,155 SCI papers of our university were cited for 8,643 times from 2004 to 2013, ranking the 118th in the national colleges and universities.) The times of the papers cited has increased by 4,848 compared with that of last year, ranking seven forward. 1,124 journal papers of our university were included by the core part of the Engineering Index (EI), ranking the 37th in the national colleges and universities, with 202 papers increased compared with that in the same period of last year, ranking 6 forward.


The most influential international academic papers and domestic academic papers of China in 2014 were announced at the conference. 12 papers from 5 journals, the Automation of Electric Power Systems, the Transactions of China, the Power System Technology, the Proceedings of the CSEE and the Acta Physica Sinica were selected into the 100 most influential domestic academic papers of China in 2014, among which 3 papers are from our university, namely: the Application of PSO Algorithm in Global MPPT for PV Array by Zhu Yanwei, the Synthetical Control Strategy for Smooth Switching Between Grid-Connected and Island Operation Modes of Microgrid Based on Engery Storage System by Zhao Dongmei and the Shielding Effectiveness of an Apertured Rectangular Cavity Against the Near-field Electromagnetic Waves by Jiao Chongqing.
