On March 17 th, executive vice President Robbyn Wacker, vice President Teresa McDevitt, director of the Center for International Education Maureen Ulevich, the dean of Education and Behavioral Sciences School Eugene Sheehan, deputy dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Science Huang Jingzi from University of Northern Colorado came to visit our school. Yang Yongping, vice President of NCEPU met with the visiting guests, the director of International Cooperation Department Duan Chunming and the Party Secretary of School of Foreign Languages Xu Lingling attended the meeting. Since the establishment of partnership between University of Northern Colorado and North China Electric Power University, all exchange programs were orderly developed. In 2015, an English major student and three teachers went to study at University of Northern Colorado for three months. Yongping Yang expressed thanks for the concern and care given by University of Northern Colorado, and hoped that more teachers and students can participate in the exchange programs in the future.
Robbyn Wacker said that University of Northern Colorado attaches great importance to partnership with North China Electric Power University, and this is the third time for the delegation to visit NCEPU. In the past year, the substantial progress had been made in cooperation. All the students, experts and scholars studying at University of Northern Colorado performed excellently, and have achieved fruitful results. He hopes that both universities could cooperate in more fields in the future.
Duan Chunming said the North China Electric Power University is committed to serving the community. At present, the affiliated high school and elementary school can provide internship opportunity for American students. Students from University of Northern Colorado could study in China through the China-U.S. cultural exchange mechanism.
