Representatives from UOIT Visit NCEPU

On April 16th,2016, Michael Owen, the vice-president from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) visits North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) with professor Glenn Harvel, Institute of Energy System and Nuclear Science in Canada. The vice-president Yang Yongping of NCEPU meets with them, along with Duan Chunming and Lu Daogang, heads of International Cooperation Office and Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering.

NCEPU has already established important cooperation relationship with more than 100 universities or scientific research institutions from more than 40 countries, and cooperated with Universities of Regina and University of Alberta in Canada in many fields successfully so far, such as student communications, staff exchange and joint scientific research etc.
 

At present, Chinese government encourages Chinese students to take part in exchanging programs completely, and even provides scholarship for excellent students. We hope an exchange program for Chinese students with UOIT will be carried out, and students from Canada are welcomed to study here and practise in our nuclear power stations.
