NCEPU Professor Wang Xiangke selected as aHighly Cited Researcher for 2016

Recently, “Highly Cited Researchers 2016” were published on the official website of Thomson Reuters, a famous academic research institution worldwide. NCEPU Professor Wang Xiangke in School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering was selected once again as a “Highly Cited Researcher” in two categories: engineering technology and environment & ecology. 
 

The “Highly Cited Researchers” list is worked out by Thomson Reuters based on the latest data with advanced algorithms. It analyses and evaluates the papers indexed in SCI from 2004 to 2014 that cover 21 fields in sciences and social sciences, and selects the top 1% most cited papers within the field in the same year. The “Highly Cited Researchers” demonstrate the influence of the selected scholars and teams in their research areas. Professor Wang Xiangke has been rated as a “Highly Cited Researcher” in engineering technology and environment & ecology for three consecutive years in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
 

According to the statistics of Web of Science, there is an increase of 3000 per year in the number of citations received by Professor Wang Xiangke’s publications in recent years, which indicates that his research results have drawn high attention from domestic and foreign researchers.
